| I am in possession of about 25-30 bags, so I know my bags. From North Face to an Israeli Messenger bag bought from Banana Republic way back in 1986, I guess you could say I know my bags. And this Dakine is no exception, from the super seaming sewn for heavy duty work, this model, A Station, they call it. And enough pockets and inside room to hold 12 litres. My Dakine was a great buy. I would buy another Dakine Bag, and my thanks for making it and keeping it tough. My bags carry everything from cameras, though padded (to guns this is the Philippines, and I am in the security business.) I have full confidence that this bag shall not fail me. Not now, not in ten years. It's built for the long run, and judging from the heavy duty sewing on the bag, the strap is definitely secured for heavy duty applications. This and the apt room for almost anything makes for a great bag, all around. Good job. No. Great job!! |

| Thanks Altrec. I never write reviews, but with this experience I had to - it would be bad karma if I didn't. I'm especially thankful to the younger lady who assisted me on the phone and answered all my questions without attitude. They actually went to the warehouse to check out specs for me, nice... The bag is exactly as you guys/gals described. Even without free shipping, this bag is the cheapest I've found anywhere online (they gave me free shipping anyways!), and I looked everywhere (at least 200 pages on a google search and who knows how many pages on actual websites)! ALTREC came out on top. Seriously, I can't be happier with my purchase from start to finish. So I will definitely give 5 STARS to this vendor. |

| Awesome Sauce - I had been wanting a slick bag like this for awhile and when I discovered this baby, well... it was love at first sight. The meat of it is a simple no nonsense bag, perfect for books and other such large things. To top it off, there are a variety of smaller pockets with buttons and zippers perfect for storing other things like cell phones, cameras, portable gaming systems, pencils, and many other things. In short, this bag has left me pleased. Also, I waffled for awhile over whether to go with the classic black design or the more iffy plaid one. I decided on the plaid and have not regretted my decision in the slightest. |

| Strong, big, comfortable bag - I was a little worried about the dimensions of the bag, but since Zappos lets you return items, free of shipping, I figured I might as well order it. This is a very good sized bag. I can fit 6 or 7 text books in it. Besides the inside, it has five different compartments and pen holders. The strap is strong, soft distressed leather and comfortable. I was concerned when I noticed that it's liable to wrinkling when left in a disheveled position, but those wrinkles come out naturally. It's a good bag, I'm glad I bought it. |

| Great Bag - I was a bit skeptical before I bought the bag for 2 reasons. 1 I thought the stripes would stand out to much but they blend well w/ the grey and it looks really good. 2 the strap looked like it might be slightly uncomfortable due to the material but it sits well on the shoulder even w/ out any padding. There are enough pockets w/in the bag to hold all of my stuff and I like the simple layout. Recommend the bag. |

| First of all thanks to the people at Altrec for there online help and fast delivery, especially considering the sale was made from Australia. When I saw the Dakine station bag i knew it was the one, I've been using it at Uni/College for the past 4 weeks and i can't complain about anything, i love it. All pictures provided on the site were really accurate which made the choice that much easier. Highly recommended, and great service again from the team at Altrec! |

| Great bag that looks great and is very durable - I got this bag as a gift and I loved it. It looks and feels very durable. Has plenty of room for all my college notebooks and textbooks as well as a lot of room for all the other small stuff. I've had it for about 3 years with heavy use and the strap is now losing some threads in corners. |

| Dakine Station...nice but not exactly as described - This is a really nice bag. It is well constructed and nice looking. However, the description said that the strap was leather, which it is not...it is canvas. I thought the leather would add a little dressiness and contrasting texture to the bag, so am disappointed in that regard. Also, would be nice if bag had inside zip pocket(s). |

| Great for travel - I bought this to be a travel bag for all the sites I wanted to see in Korea. It has been very helpful and just full of room. The canvas is very durable and looks really nice. All of my travel books and DSLR camera fit comfortably. If you are looking for something that is comfortable and has plenty of space, buy it. |

| Perfect for my needs - As a college professor who didn't want a "stuffy" or pretentious looking bookbag, but wanted something simple and casual, this Dakine fits the bill. It has ample room for my many books and notepads, many compartments for pens, aspirin, etc and a handy side pouch for my water bottle. It is sturdy and I'm sure it will last for several years. |
