Dagger Jitsu 6.0 Kayak - Dagger Kayaks Jitsu 6.0 Kayak - Dagger brings decades of experience and team-tested, paddler-proven heritage to freestyle kayaking in the all new Jitsu Series True to form, this series has been tested and approved by some of the worldâ??s most skilled paddlers, including Andrew Holcombe, Chris Gragtmans, Rush Sturges, Ben Marr and world freestyle champion James Bebbington. With a fast, loose hull and defined edges, this dynamic performance freestyle kayak excels in surfing and aerial moves on play waves and holes. The Jitsuâ??s unique rocker profile, hull to rail relationship through the stern, carefully distributed centralized volume, and slicey tips make three dimensional combination moves in advancing hole play easier while creating a seamless blend of speed, looseness, and release on waves. The double-step carving rail above the release edge also helps the boat to grip and drive on

The Dagger Jitsu 6.0 Kayak fits your NBA-sized frame so the big and tall paddlers get the same head-over-heels fun as the pint-sized paddlers. A combination of rocker and low-profile engineering endows your paddling with unparalleled agility and stability and race-car worthy speeds—turn cartwheels, fly off the wave, and head towards that sick hole without tossing your cookies. And then do it all over again.

A smooth, progressive rocker gives the boat maximum maneuvering in holes, off waves, and down falls. The low-profile stern puts the pedal to the metal for easy acceleration into waves, off launches, and across the flats, hewing a tight line towards the next sweet spot of churning rapids. The majority of the Jitsu's volume is centralized around the cockpit. At the bow, tapered sides make hole moves pop. The combination of side and volume pushed into and behind the seat lets you scribe large loops with enough juice to fly off the wave (and several feet from your launch pad).

The Contour outfitting system maximizes paddler comfort and optimizes positioning for on-water paddling power. The seat rail is welded to the boat itself, making it simple to transfer your paddling power to the boat's movements on the water. Proper positioning in the cockpit is a highly personal experience. Nearly everything adjusts on the Jitsu, so creating a custom fit is easy. Hip braces adjust for a tight or loose fit, depending on conditions you'll encounter. The ratcheted back gives you the ability to sit comfortably for hours on end, and be able to walk upright when you reach dry land. The footrests are molded to the boat for stability during collisions, but are adjustable for a little extra power to your paddling.

Dagger Jitsu 6.0 Kayak Review:

From the first Radical Play Machine to the next, introducing the Dagger Jitsu! I am truly honored to be able to write my impressions of the soon to be available Dagger Jitsu, our newest freestyle project! It's been a little while I know but that wait will be well worth it. This boat has the full force of the Dagger design team behind and it shows. Now that the boat has been through the paces, the prototypes, and the evaluation of some of the best freestyle paddlers on the planet I'm so excited I don't even know where to start:) What I'm really getting at here is the overall and all around awesomeness of this kayak! It performs on all types of features big (think Skook, the New River Dries, etc..) and small (Big Rocks), its aggressive without throwing you around too much, and its actually alright to sit in for a bit. Plus with three sizes it'll span the distance of sizes out there. Keep an eye out the Jitsu is coming your way soon!
