Linecounter Reel

For the money the Daiwa Sealine linecounter reels have been very reliable over the years. Smooth reeling and counter seem to hold up in adverse weather conditions.
I like the wider paddle handle grips on the version "B".

giving up on it

I have 10 of these reels and have boated a lot of fish
with them liked them at first but now the counter on many of them wont reset this is a big problem
im sure daiwa will help fix if I send it back but im looking at a failure rate of over 40% you just can't depend on them when I can afford it gona have to buy some other brand hope this helps some other poor walleye

Poor quality drag

I purchased one of these reels to troll off of my kayak. Could never get the drag settings to work properly and even at full drag would lose line to the least resistance. Maybe I just got a lemon as I have always used Diawa spin reels with no problem. Based on my experience, I would not recommend these reels. I am now using a Shimano Tekota which is performing wonderfully.
