Let your friends sag their pants as much as they want; at the end of the day, you'll be the one free of wet-butt syndrome. The Dakine Men's Shifter Bib Pant is for those who'd rather avoid the end-of-the-day snow shake-down dance ritually performed before the car ride down. This hardshell snow pant sports three layers of Toray Micro-Oxford and Laminate Entrant Dermizax with a water-resistant DWR finish. With inner and outer leg vents, you're bound to have a comfortable day no matter what the temperature. Even if you just can't nail that tweaked out grab, the fully taped seams and boot gaiters will make sure you're not soaking wet on your ninth (or twelfth) attempt. With more pockets than murse, you'll have extra storage space for a beacon, walkie talkie, fruit snacks, and more.
I have only used them a few times, and have not used them in really intense conditions as of now (just a fairly mild Utah storm) but they are incredibly nice and I know they are going to be more than capable. Initially I purchased the Large but I felt as though they were a bit snug (I prefer a baggy fit) and exchanged them for an XL which fit perfectly. I am 6 foot 175 lbs for reference. The beacon pocket is a nice addition as well, my last pair of bibs did not have a dedicated pocket for one. I use a BCA Tracker and it fits fine. I am stoked to get them out and really put them to good use, I can tell I am going to love them.
