Dakine's hot-weather specialist, the Syncline Short, is designed to make summer's hottest, most miserable days a whole lot better. Zippered vents force refreshing air to push through the short, and moisture-wicking nylon fabric pulls moisture away from your skin to keep you dry and comfortable.
Dakine built the Syncline Short with tough nylon fabric. Since nylon is already abrasion-resistant, Dakine was able to use a light 200-gram micro-corded weave. A four-way stretch back panel and gusseted crotch add durability and an unlimited range of motion.
The Syncline short comes with zippered leg vents to help cool you down. Zippered pockets in the front and back take care of your valuables, and hook-and-loop waist adjustments allow you to dial in the perfect custom fit.The Dakine Syncline Short comes in four sizes: Small to X-Large. It's available in Charcoal or Black.
Hit the mountain hard in the men's DAKINE Syncline Bike Shorts, with their long length for coverage and removable padded liner for comfort.

These shorts have worked out great for me. If you do your research on these then you'll find that Dakine does offer them them in a pair that comes with a chamois but it's at least $40 more for the pair. I for one have several chamois already and didn't need another pair so it made sense. I've had these on the Wasatch Crest and days and days at The Canyons riding as hard I can. Never have I felt like they were to much and I love the ventilated slats in the front.
Solid job again Dakine on another great product.
Good quality shorts, lights and durable, good cut. Tech specs are misleading though, as it has no chamois pad and will require liner shorts for serious cycling.
