It's been about 5 years since I had a pair of these boots. I am pretty hard on boots especially the sole. I work for a water well company and am in wet muddy conditions most days. Also I wore these boots 5 days a week for a little more than 2 years and they held up very well. The Goretex held up pretty good and the were still pretty water proof right up until the end. I ended up giving them to a fellow worker and he continued to wear them for another 6+ months. The only downside is the price and they are a little on the heavy side.
