Positive Reviews:

This boot is exceptionally comfortable and supportive. I don't have the issues with it that a few others have mentioned. I'm a teacher and am on my feet all day. After wearing these for several days now, I couldn't be happier with them. The quality of leather is also exceptionally good and they will look great for many years to come. Before purchasing I compared them with Born, David Tate, and Naturalizer. These won out hands down! I wear an 8 - 8 1/2 and bought a 39. Fit well with slightly thinner sock and thick sock. I highly recommend them if Dansko is a good fit for your foot.

Very comfy - like walking on air! Love these boots. The angle somehow manages to keep the foot nearly flat and puts little pressure on the ball of the foot. Only problem with these is that the shaft doesn't come up high enough for me, so the top is right above my ankle, so it really rubs the skin raw quite quickly if my sock is not tall enough.

I bought these boots in the "Cordovan Nappa" color, and I'm very pleased with them! They're a bit snug to get my foot into, so I wear them with thinner trouser socks. The fit is comfortable and the support is good; I've spent hours on my feet in them, mostly walking, and still felt very good.

These are great boots! Very stylish and very comfortable. I usually wear a 11.5 to 12 in USA sizes and the Dansko 42 is a near perfect fit, perhaps a tiny bit snug but I believe the shoes will stretch.

Negative Reviews:

I am in need of support as I work retail and stand on my feet over seven hours a day. There is padding in the heel and arch of the shoe, but little in the front/pad, where I put my weight and where I get the worst pain. After wearing these for a nine hour shift my feet were in significant pain. The padding in the arch is too much, and it feels quite hard, like a big bump poking you as you walk all day. Sorry to say, the claims of comfort for this shoe were less than my trusty five year old pair of similar paddock boots. I am only keeping these because that pair is literally falling apart and these cannot be returned now. As another reviewer mentioned the heel feels a bit unstable since the heel bed itself is so much wider and further back than the heel's sole, making it feel wobbly when you step onto it. It makes it difficult to try to lean back on your heel and take some weight off the pads. I also think the pictures make the boot look a lot sleeker looking than the real product, which is pretty squat. I like the style well enough still, but I feel the photos are misleading. The back of the shoe is much straighter and fatter. Overall I am pretty disappointed with this shoe for what claimed to be designed for comfort, I found no difference compared to cheap budget shoes. I would not recommend this.
