I have been wearing Dansko Jocelyn's for the past six plus years. I wear them all day, almost every day to work and when I travel. They are not the most fashion-forward shoe, but for someone with very wide feet with high arches and a history of plantar fasciitis, they are one of the only dress shoes that I can wear that do not aggravate my feet. And to me comfort is more important than style, I guess. I like this particular footbed of Dankso's. I have tried to wear the Dansko Professional clogs, but the footbed on the Jocelyn provides better support for my foot shape (wide, wide, wide) and is more comfortable for me. They also hold up really well. I alternate with black or brown five days a week and usually buy a new pair of one or the other about every two years. The other brand of shoe that I can wear like this is Keen (particularly the Providence and the Briggs styles). I also love my Croc Caymans and flip-flops for just hanging out!

I bought this pair of black Jocelyns because I own a pair of brown ones and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. My daughter is a new teacher and she talked me into trying them because they helped her get through the day. I bought a 38 and I usually wear a 7. They feel a little smaller than the brown ones, but that is good because I have to wear 2 pairs of socks even with my orthotics in the brown ones. The black ones are perfect with the Dansko insole. I tried wearing my orthotic but it was a little tight, however I am amazed at how comfortable the Dansko insole is. (I am recovering from plantar fasciitis). They are shinier than the brown ones but I had heard Dansko was using a different finish on these. They can look both dressy and casual. I love these shoes.

This is my favorite shoe! EVER! I have owned 5 pair (so far) of this shoe in black, and worn them until all the "leather" has rubbed off the toes, the soles have no tread, and theyre really ugly - then I buy another pair! Ive taken these shoes around the world - hiking in Viet Nam or Japan - not the optimal hiking shoe, but you can do it once broken in. This is a good shoe, so its stiff and also a clog - order a half-size larger or youll have terrible blisters. Its a vegetarian, no leather, shoe - meaningful for me, also doesnt smell bad after a long walk across New York City or Tokyo. And at least half the time I wear them, a stranger will ask who makes them and where to buy them > Zappos, of course!

Comfort but not so much style - I had already purchased the Jocelyn in brown and went and bought a black pair because it is so hard to find shoes which an orthotic will fit into. I have a small (6/Euro 37) wide foot and plantar fasciitis so it is complicated. This shoe works very well. It does have a thick sole so your jeans might look short on you, but other than that, very comfortable, and good for my feet. I am a teacher and on my feet off and on for many hours - so, perfect for me. I only wish Dansko would apply the comfort of this shoe to something more stylish, something with a monk strap or buckle to dress and sassy it up a little. Just because we have foot issues doesn't mean we don't want to look good!

Orthotic fits! Okay, so I have sort of given up on cute sexy shoes since I have a short wide foot and plantar fasciitis...so hard to find anything that works. I like the Footprints Cambria, but can't find it anywhere for under $200, so I went looking and ended up trying a few Danskos. I liked a lot of them, but sadly, most were too shallow to accommodate my orthotic. So this was the only brown shoe good enough to wear to work (teacher) that my orthotic would fit into. It is a bit granny-ish, but at this point all I want is comfort. Very comfortable and easy to get on and off. I usually wear a 37 but had to go to a 38 for this shoe.

Happy feet at last - I love this shoe; it has a little height so my pants do not drag. I walk over 5 miles a day on my job as a manager in a life care community, I need comfort but I can not wear sneakers. I need something a little dressy to wear with pants and these are perfect. I have tried countless shoes with no luck at all. I have a bunion on my foot so these shoes are perfect. I could not be happier for my needs. Zappos is great, I will only buy shoes from them and now some of my friends do to. Amazing customer service, the best of any store I have ever tried.

I had been having a lot of heel pain. I purchased a new pair of tennis shoes, the type I have worn for years. That did not help relieve my heel pain. One night after my co-workers had listened to me whine all night about my heel pain, someone suggested that I try a pair of Dansko shoes. Being in an area where I have to go quite a few miles to find a good pair of shoes, I went to the aid of Zappos and found the pair I wanted. These shoes have helped relieve 90% of the pain since I have purchased them. I like them so much that I want to purchase another pair in black.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I've had a black pair of these shoes since Dec 05. I have worn them with jeans & dress pants constantly all this time. They have recently started to lose their new shiny finish so I just polish them up. They just recently have a spot that is kind of pulling away from the seam (after wearing almost daily for 3 1/2 years). I chose another pair of Dansko shoes to replace them since I had a gift certificate to use, but they were not as comfortable. So I just ordered another pair of the same Jocelyn shoes. I can wear them anywhere and they are so comfortable. Awesome!

I have plantar fasciitis and have been wearing Danskos for years. I thought this shoe was incredibly comfortable in terms of the arch and room for my toes. It fit true to my usual Dansko size. However, the sides came up a little high for me under my ankle. I was afraid after a while the hard leather would make blisters on my ankle bone. More importantly, they are not attractive. They look more orthopedic/Herman Munster in real life than they do in the picture. If I didn't care about the look, I would have kept them to see if the blister issue was a problem.

Twenty-eight years of food service has taken its toll on my feet! Six or seven years ago I purchased my first pair of Jocelyn Dankso's at a local women's clothing and shoe store. I couldn't believe the stability that the wide sole gave me (I have always had weak ankles, and the place I work has a railroad tie flooring, making stability even more crucial!). Most of my co-workers wear the Professional Cabrio (I own a pair of those, too, but feel very unstable on them!). I cannot stress enough how invaluable these shoes have become to me! I will never wear others!
