Dansko Ren Pumps

Women's Footwear > BootsRated: **** by 19 reviews.

Whoever said pumps have to be uncomfortable hasn't felt the chic comfort of Dansko's Ren pumps. A Carbosan-cushioned footbed provides arch support, and the leather cutout detailing around the toe and heel offers a hint of western style.

Positive Reviews:

High heeled comfort

Rating:****
Love my "dressy" Danskos; however, they do NOT fit like a clog and I have to keep reminding myself of that. Very tight fit when warn with socks. Best fit would be tights, trouser socks, nylons or nothing at all. I specifically bought them as I need removable footbeds (for my orthotics), but the orthotics make for an even tighter fit. Still a wonderful shoe for dressy comfort.

sensible shoes

Rating:****
These are nice, sensible shoes. Although I am more comfort driven when it comes to shoes, I have to say that these are not very fashion-forward, and I am glad that they will be hidden under long pants most of the time. They are comfortable, the heel height is nice, but they are a little dowdy looking.

order size smaller

Rating:****
I've been wearing size 37 Danskos for 10 years, they are my favorite brand, I have a ton of pairs. I've never had a mis-sized pair, but I have to send these 37 back for a size 36. Weird.

Attractive pump

Rating:*****
I'm going to have to send these shoes back. I wear an 8 M in US sized dress shoes. I wear an 8 1/2 in an athletic shoe. I ordered a 39 in this Dansko pump.

comfortable, but a little clunky

Rating:****
Nice shoe for the office. Look nice, great color. Particularly good for pants. The only odd thing is that they sort of squeak when I walk. I think they will be nice for fall weather.

I would buy these again

Rating:*****
This was the first time buying shoes online. I have owned Dansko's before, but was still worried if they would fit. They fit perfectly and they look even better than in the picture.

Cute and comfortable shoe

Rating:****
I wear a 7.5, and the 38 is a little big, but I added an insole. I wore these shoes on a day I walked several miles and they were very comfortable.

i love dansko

Rating:*****
the only thing that i would like is a square toe shaped shoe from them not the point at the big toe... that would be more european and confortable

very versatile, a beautiful shoe

Rating:****
not for those of you who are not a perfect size. These beautiful shoes will have to go back. Just a tad bit too small. too bad!

Great value for the money!

Rating:****
These shoes feel a half size too small, but are still a great value. Order up a size and wear thicker socks.

Negative Reviews:

attractive but didn't fit

Rating:**
i have 2 other pair of dansko size 41, this shoe in a size 41 fit ok in the toebox area but i was able to fit a finger between back of my heel and shoe so they slipped so bad i could not walk in them without them falling off my feet. i was very dissapointed because they are beautiful to look at. i do have a narrow heel and bony feet so if you have a full heel and feet they might work for you.

Too narrow

Rating:***
Note that I have very wide feet, high arches, and bunions from too many high heels in my 20's & 30's. This shoe was beautiful, had wonderful height, was comfortable to walk in, and could be easily worn with trousers or skirts. Unfortunately, it did not have the typical Dansko fit. The toe box was very narrow and the shoe narrowed considerably across the widest part of my foot. Had to go back. This shoe would not work for wide feet (note I have a double wide shoe size).

Not for big foot

Rating:***
Read all the reviews... most said true to size or 1/2 size larger than true... (as I remember it) as I havent had good luck finding Danskos in stores in the larger sizes to try on (an 11) I was excited to read about these being a little big. I have come to the final conclusion that Danskos just run small. And since an "11" is the largest they make I may never get the chance to own a pair... too bad came highly recommended by my Chiropractor.

A Bit Snug

Rating:***
Hurt my feet but these shoes are so supportive AND stylish, that I'm willing to try to break them in. I have faith that, because of the material, they'll stretch over time and my foot will grow into them (hopefully)

no arch support!!

Rating:***
i have other dansko "heels" that are much more comfortable and would allow me to wear all day.
