Comfortable and Stylish Boot

Rating:****
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. This is my third pair of Dansko shoes. I own a mary jane style and a closed-back clog, and I felt I needed a style that would be more appropriate for winter. These boots are very comfortable, but comparatively, they are not quite as comfortable or as well-cushioned as the clogs or mary janes. The leather around the ankle of the boot is somewhat stiff, but I am hoping that the leather will soften after a few more wearings.

As for the style of the boot, the toe box is not quite as up-turned as it is on both the mary jane style or the clog. The boot has a more sleek look, making them more appropriate for a professional setting. I purchased the black pair with the intention of wearing the boots to work, but I tried on the cordovan in the store, and I have to say that the cordovan looks really sharp with a pair of dark denim jeans.

I would recommend these boots for anyone who is looking to purchase a sleek and stylish ankle boot that is comfortable enough to wear all day long.

Great black boot!

Rating:*****
These are a great boot! The top moves around on the leg a bit, but not uncomfortable. My heel also moves around a bit, but also not uncomfortable. I tried on the smaller size at the store, but they would have been too tight. I plan to wear them in Europe - so lots of walking - and for work as a medical student. These activities also lead to swollen feet so I think the "extra" room will be great in the long run. I have been "breaking them in," which they don't need! They have a great arch, soft insole, and don't feel like a 2" heel. The brown color is kind of ugly - a mottled, red-brown, cheap leather look. I got the black.

I love these boots!

Rating:*****
I love these boots. I wear them to work (business casual), and with jeans to class. I work 12-14 hour days thanks to full time work and full time grad school, and these boots are perfect for my lifestyle. They are stylish and comfortable. Like others have mentioned, I had to get one size smaller than I thought I would need. Other than that, I can't ask for a better boot. I get complimented on them weekly; people say my feet look tiny in them! I'm buying a pair for a relative this weekend. I hope she likes them as much as I do!

Perfect boots

Rating:*****
I almost didn't buy these boots because of the comments about the stiff leather on the ankles. But from the first day, these felt perfect on my feet - I've never noticed the ankles being stiff. I'm usually right between sizes in Dansko shoes, but the smaller size was just right.

Dansko Scout boots

Rating:****
looks great but have to return it as the size I ordered which normally fits perfect feels like half a size larger so while the front of the boot fits the heel slips out

STIFF LEATHER

Rating:**
The leather around the front of the leg was too stiff for my comfort.
