I ordered Dansko Serafina and the Sissy sandals last week. I liked the way Sissy looked better in the photo and figured the Sissy would look less wide. I was surprised to find that Serafina was much more flattering to my foot. Another reviewer reported that the front strap was too high, and asked "Whose feet are that tall?" Evidently, mine are, because the fit is perfect. My feet aren't especially wide, but I have very high arches. I got the red crinkle patent on a lark, fearing that the patent might rub or cut into my feet on a hot day filled with walking, but I was pleased to find they were just as comfy at the end of the day as when I first put them on. No red spots. I LOVE the red color; such a good choice. The heels look exactly like wood, but they are actually more comfortable (and quieter) than wood because they are low-key rubber. I'll confess that I often buy cheap shoes, but I am coming around to the notion that you get what you pay for, and the comfort of these sandals (and Dansko shoes in general) is unparalleled. Plus, my past Danskos have really lasted.

I have mixed feelings about these shoes. I am a huge Dansko and Zappos fan, and I was very excited to receive them. I put them on right away and they felt great. I was leaving for a business trip the next day and took them with me. After wearing them for a couple of days I felt like they were about 1/2 size too big. I think the back straps stretched a bit and while I am not falling out of them, they don\'t exactly fit like a glove. If I had had the time to wear them around my house for a day I probably would not have kept them. But since I wore them outside and couldn\'t return them, I have kept them and will wear them from time to time. But I am a little disappointed. They are cute and comfortable so I\'d recommend them, just be aware that they run a little big. I ordered a 38 and I have 2 other pairs of Danskos in that size but these are a bit larger.

I love these shoes! They look good with anything: capris, skirts, jeans. But most importantly, they\'re super comfortable. This was my first experience with Dansko. The price is a little high, but it was worth it for me. I have severe plantar fasciitis in my right foot and these are the only shoes that make it bearable to walk. They haven\'t cured the problem, but they are far more comfortable for my sore foot than any other shoes I own. The only reason I didn\'t rate them 5 stars is because the left footbed has cracked after wearing them all summer. Not the sole, just a little crack I can feel under the ball of my foot. Still wearable though. Will be getting another pair for next summer. And have just ordered Dansko Professional Clogs for winter.

I like this shoe a lot. Plenty of room (I have a wide foot). Also very supportive and comfortable to wear all day. I got a little rubbing on one of my toes, so giving it 4 out of 5 for comfort, but I am thinking this will stop as I wear them more. I got the black patent and it can be dressy or casual. Looks equally good with shorts, skirts, and pants. Should be able to wear spring, summer and fall. They are not "dainty" but not too clunky. I think the style is also 4 out of 5 too.

These cute, versatile sandals felt a little big and clunky when I first put them on, but within a day or two I was used to them and now wear them in comfort all day. No rubbing, blisters or soreness of any kind. My flat feet really appreciate the arch support. I wear a 7.5B, and 38 fits well, though I had to loosen the straps one notch. I love that they work with shorts, pants, and skirts; my black pair even look great with my short black dinner dress. Dansko got it right for me with the Serafina!

I have happily been wearing Danskos for at least 10 years (clogs, sandals, more urban line as well) and I just LOVE these sandals. I am a little disappointed in the color of red the shoes are though (I thought it would be a little more fire engine or candy red in color but it's actually more of a rusty red- still nice + actually more neutral this way). I always wear a size 39 but I ordered these in a size 40 per the advice of the other reviews and they fit perfect!

These Dansko sandals are great. They are true to size and fit comfortably from the first wear. They are made with the newer materials and are lightweight as opposed to some other Dansko styles. The ankle strap fits at a very nice spot on your foot and is feminine and almost sexy. The suede foot pad is a little light and wear causes footprint mark which isn't too attractive. Fortunately, you don't really notice when you are wearing the shoe. Overall a great shoe that I would buy again.

Ordered these for a wedding. I needed something to go with a long dress.I would have preferred something sexier, but my back and ankles will not allow that. By the end of the evening my feet were so swollen that nothing would have been cosmfortable, but these were far better than anything I else I could have found. I really ought to toss all the shoes in my closet that are not Dansko. My one complaint is that the footbed is hot.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes, and much more attractive on than they are in the photo. (They look kind of clunky in the photo, but are elegant on the feet.) Arch support is great, and they are comfy on the first day of wear. I have wide feet, and this isn't available in wide, but I took a chance and they are a perfect fit--hugging close enough to be stable and not too tight.

This is one beautiful sandal. I own it in three colors. Comfortable too. Why, I even wore it within weeks of breaking my toe! The footbed is SOO soft and comfy, a kind of suede-like material. The platform is just the right height. Gives the illusion of a higher heel. I can wear these all day and not be tired of them at the end of the day. Buy them! You'll be happy.

So sad! I have a pair of the Dankso Sissy sandals and I absolutely adore them. I can literally walk for miles in them, and I have troubled feet and ankles. I wanted to order a black sandal and I went with the Serafina so that I wouldn't have two of the same shoe, plus I think the Serafina is a little sleeker. I assumed it would be just as comfortable and perfect as the Sissy, but I was mistaken! The toe strap is way too big for my foot so it doesn't even help in holding the shoe on my foot! I don't know what went wrong when they manufactured these, but whose feet are that tall?? I have average/wide feet, so this shouldn't be a problem. I am surprised that no one else seems to have this problem with this shoe. Perhaps I got a pair that was defected? Either way, I still love Dansko and Zappos, but sometimes Dansko has a dud. I will stick to the Sissy sandals.

Sweat and blisters! I have owned many Danskos in my life, and these are the first ever to give me blisters and make my feet sweat. There is something about the material on the footbed. It's not leather as in the professional clogs (and even some of the other sandals available, such as the Margrete which I also own). I guess this is a new line which for me (a true Dansko lover) offers a slightly different last, a sweat-producing footbed, and less well-fitting straps that caused blisters when I wore them to walk around at a festival. Overall, I am not as happy with these as past Danskos. Also, size didn't run true for me. Have always worn a 39, but needed a 40 in these. They are stylish though; the red is beautiful.

Everything about this shoe is great except for the dri-lex footbed. It makes my feet hot and sweaty. However, I am hoping that in the fall and early winter with a pair of tights I will be able to enjoy the comfort and style of these shoes more. I take a 37 in this one, even though it has the same footbed as the Sissy, in which I wear a 38.

Was looking to replace my 2 year old Dansko "Reid" shoes which have been great and these did not work out for me. A little too clunky (which I find to be true of the styles this year) and I really do not like the sponge like surface on the innersole. I am not surprised when another reader complained about foot odor. Sending these back.

The bottom portion of the shoe is very comfortable, but the straps (no matter how loose) tend to rub against the skin causing abrasions or against (foot) bones, causing significant discomfort.
