Darn Tough Merino Wool Cushion Boot Sock Reviews:

10 stars. These blow smartwool socks out of the water. I wore a pair for 3 days straight; one 8 mile morning hike plus wearing around town, just to see what would happen. They still felt soft and cushion-y even as I pulled them off for the wash. I washed 'em, dried 'em and wore them again the next day.
My two pair each have more than 60 miles of hiking and 6 or more washes, and they literally still look (AND FEEL) new.
The icing on the cake: If I somehow ever managed to wear these out, and didn't feel like I got my money's worth; the package says lifetime guarantee.
I'll be filling my sock drawer with these, no doubt.

My boyfriend turned me on to darn tough socks last year by telling me that he had the same pair for over 3 years until they wore out. I bought him this pair because he likes the extra cushion for snowboarding and hiking. They are extremely warm and a great length to wear under his snowboarding boots. They are excellent at moisture wicking with great comfort, but the durability is second to none. Even if you can find a way to wear them out send them back to Darn Tough in Vermont and they will replace them for free for life! That alone is reason enough to buy them.

Was wearing my Chacos a few weeks ago on an unusually chilly day. My feet were freezing the whole time I was in class and when I got out I immediately drove over to a local outdoors store and looked for some socks. I settled on these because they seemed good and not overly expensive. I put them on before I even left the store and they were love at first step. I wish I had another pair or 20, id wear them every day. Best every day sock or day hiking sock I have tried.

I really like the fit of these socks. The heal cup is great and they are all around very comfortable. These socks are mid weight, but I do wear them in winter for cycling. Only downside, they are showing more wear than my other brand merino socks. They feel especially rough around day 3-4 in the woods.

My feet love living in the cushion boot sock. It's thinner than traditional boots socks so it breathes better, but has a little extra padding in just the right places. 6 months of heavy use and I have yet to see any significant signs of wear. It's made in the USA too!!

Just got a chance to use these again on a 4-day snowmobiling trip in Northern Maine, temp was -10F. My wife was a first time user. Toes and feet were toasty. They are an automatic on all my snowmobile trips! Love that Merino wool!

I absolutely love this sock! True fit, Durable, resists odor very well, and stays in place nicely. It is my favorite all season sock. The construction is absolutely incredible, as are all Darn Tough socks! Very nicely done!

I have had these socks for a couple of months now and they're great. Very durable and have much more cushion to them than I expected. Will definitely purchase more of these.

I purchased these socks to wear with boots and scored with great results. They stay put and the padding makes them comfy. They moisture wick very well.

I did backpacking trip in Sep through the Alaska Range and these socks were great for several days straight. If your feet are happy, you are happy.
