I am a full-time live-aboard power boater. BUT: In the summer I help out aboard some of the old "antique" (they don't like to be called that) large sailing vessels. The Tall Ships they call them. Most are a minimum of three, if not three plus a spanker in the way of masts. It usually takes a crew of 25 to raise full sail. And it's a beautiful sight!!!
I was looking for a replacement knife that I could abuse the heck out of. This knife seems to do the trick. I use the knife for anything from cutting line to scrapping paint. I was able to put a pretty good edge on the knife. The shackel key is useless and it could have been left off. The screwdriver tip has been useful along with the marlin spike.
