This Really Works!

Dropped the key buoy on the boat deck which opened the case like a clam shell, so thought I'd use it as a tester to make sure it would actually work when needed. I closed it back up and tied a string to it with 8 keys attached... It takes a few seconds for the inflation to start but lifted the eight keys and about 6 feet of string no problem. Would have lifted more which was reassuring. Great idea, I bought a couple more now that I know they work so well.

Great for anyone who brings a set of keys near the water or into a boat!

Don't Trust It

The 1st one of these I had fell apart so I tried to see if it would inflate. Guess what it, it didn't.
My store manager (who is awesome) kindly gave me a replacement.
Today came the real test when my keys fell in the lake. Guess what, it didn't float.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't expect a miracle.
I intentionally only kept three keys on the ring in the hopes that it would have enough floatation if the worst were to happen.
This product is such a wonderful idea. It is compact and unobtrusive.
Unfortunately a simple foam floatie thing would have saved my day.

Just Be Mindful

Just don't let this product get wet during washdowns, or in a rainstorm. It will deploy. Surprise!
But it is a great idea.
