Dave here talking about the Siloh Boa Snowboard Boot. What you’re looking at here is a very well priced, I would say entry level to intermediate, all-mountain BOA boot. BOA definitely is going to make it really, really easy to get in and out of the boots. It’s going to maintain the same tightness throughout the day, and generally speaking it’s going to be a little bit more durable than a traditional lace system as well. For those of you not familiar, it’s pretty easy to get into them. You just turn it. Crank it down. It tightens the stainless steel cable to get out. Pop it out, pull the tongue out, and you’re out. Super, super easy to use. This one features a new performance outsole. It’s going to give you better board feel, and it gives you really good grip on the icy hard packed stuff. From there, you get a 3D molded tongue; all the do. It’s going to keep it from deforming when you get the tension from the lace cable. A lot of people worry about the durability of the BOA lace cable, but it’s actually going to be much more durable than a traditional lace. This is 29 strands of stainless steel in here; very, very strong. That is going to move us into the Delta liner. This is their entry level liner. Super good right out of the box fit; very soft, very cushiony. This one will have the laces on the liner itself as well as lace toggle. Very easily to use, stays in place all day. Definitely good stuff. 3D molded tongue on the liner as well; once again, not deforming when you get the pressure from the laces. The back of the boots will have a really, really deep Achilles pocket, really good at giving you the heel hold that you need when you’re out there riding. This goes into their base insole, just kind of an extra cushioning device they throw in there. But like I said, just a really good entry level to intermediate all-mountain, convenience oriented BOA boot. Flex in this bad boy is probably about a four out of 10, so you can ride it in pretty much most conditions. That’s the Siloh Boa Snowboard Boot.

Comfy and cozy are just a few words that come to mind you think of this years Siloh. Riders of all abilities will appreciate the fur lining on the liners as you are making big turns in fresh POW!

| I live in Vail, and ride pretty much everyday and these boots are awesome! very comfortable and easy to get on and off thanks to the BOA system. The Silohs are a softer flex boot, which I like, if you like a stiffer boot I'd recommend the DC Judge. You can't go wrong with DC, I've been wearing DC skate shoes for years and they last. Hope this helps! | |
