If you've ever seen Dan Brisse snowboard, then you probably already know everything you need to know about his pro model Deeluxe Men's Brisse Snowboard Boot. But just to humor you, we'll let you know that this versatile boot was designed to handle all aspects of Dan's balls-to-the-wall style of shredding, from rails off roofs in the streets to massive step-downs in the backcountry, and everything in between.
C3 lacing allows you to independently adjust the tightness of the heel, forefoot, and shaft areas of the boot so you can customize the fit to suit your riding. The DuPont Surlyn backstay stiffens the boot for reliable support and response that will last over time, and dual power straps allow you to really crank down the tightness when you're going huge. The Performance Flex liner has a built-in ankle harness for unbeatable hold, and its E-Lacing system helps you dial in the optimal tightness. An EVA midsole absorbs shock from harsh landings and reduces vibrations for a smoother ride. The low-profile D-Lug outsole has a skate shoe-inspired design for enhanced board feel and a lightweight feel.
Terrain: Ice Coast
Style: Mostly freeride
I own last year's model of the Brisse, but it looks like the boot has not changed much. Very comfortable boot and it fits my weird foot (wide forefoot, skinny ankles). No heel lift and I can adjust the boots to the stiffness I prefer.
Highly recommended. I cross-shopped with the Salmon Dialogue Wide.
