The original Aireator is the sock that started it all for DeFeet. It took its name from the innovative mesh weave design comprising the top of the foot, and the sock quickly caught on as a favorite among the world's top cyclists. Since it first launched, the Aireator has undergone a few tweaks, making it even better than the original.
This iteration of the Aireator, the Hi Top 5-inch Socks, was constructed using CoolMax EcoMade, which is composed of fibers derived from recycled water bottles. According to DeFeet, it takes about three bottles to make a single pair of socks. This material was chosen for its exceptional moisture management properties and breathable composition.
As the "original air-flow design sock," the Aireator also incorporates the proven mesh nylon weave bearing the socks' name, which was applied to the instep zone to further their overall ventilation.
Reinforced heels add to the socks' overall durability, and lightly compressive five-inch cuffs provide both support and additional coverage around your ankles and lower legs. And as with all of DeFeet's socks, the Aireators are made in the USA.
The DeFeet Aireator - Hi Top 5-inch Socks are available in four sizes from Small to X-Large and in a dizzying array of both colors and styles.
