DeFeet made the Women’s ArmSkin for cyclists who want breathable arm insulation and protection without committing to a full long-sleeve jersey. The CoolMax, nylon, and lycra construction mean the ArmSkin breathes harder than Lance does on the Alpe D’Huez stage of the Tour. The Stayfast cuff and secure binding keep the ArmSkin in place, and you’ll appreciate the extra coverage if you ever have to lay down your ride on asphalt.

I'm big on arm warmers for both cycling and running. These are nice. I wore mine yesterday on a 5 hour ride starting out in the cool temps of the morning (45 degrees F) and ending in the "heat of the day" (around 70 degrees F). I wore the warmers the whole time and was exactly comfortable. Exactly. Granted, I was out there for hours by myself, and I had a ton of time to think, but I actually noted how comfortable the warmers were. CoolMax's breathability and moisture control work well not just to keep you cool, but to keep you warm enough. And that's the point. These are warmer than many lycra options out there. But you don't necessarily get too hot when the temps rise.

The chantilly lace adds a slight fashion flare to your kit while still serving it's purpose! I recently used these down in Moab where at time it was low 50's to mid 90's. I wouldn't recommend them for weather much cooler than 50's as I was quite cold when going downhill. I would upgrade to fleeced lined warmers for the fall/higher elevation rides. The fabric is strong enough that they stay in place pretty well up around the bicep/shoulders.
