Great Quality runs small ORDER UP one size

I am 5'2 and weigh about 103 usually order a SMALL in just about everything EXCEPT for DESCENTE. I have found that their products run smaller so I now order a MEDIUM. Had the jersey and on long bike ride the small armpit was bothersome and too tight - I exchanged for a MEDIUM and love it. When I purchased these matching bike shorts went straight for the MEDIUM and they are perfect. I also wear Pearl Izumi and Sergio both in small and comparatively found the Descente sits lower on the hip and has a great chamois for the longer rides 50-62+. I wear this pair at least twice a week on my longer rides, love the fit and comfort. Bottom line, unless you are one svelt biker, order up one size. Overall great product, nice quality - one of my favorite brands.

I bought these shorts after reading other reviews and recommendations and I have to say they were correct. I had been using Izumi and felt that the padding was to thick and bulky. These shorts are great. I average rides between 40-62 miles and these were great - just enough cushion for comfort and not so much that you feel like your sitting on a depends during your rides. Highly recommend - fit is excellent - Overall couldnt be happier, well worth the price.

Purchased these shorts after only wearing Pearl Izumi UltraSensors. Padding is less bulky and lot more comfortable. I average 20 miles each ride. The longer front padding is great for when I need to get more aerodynamic. I do wish the shorts had grippers on the leg. They did not ride up, but might be just a matter of time, shorts didn't come up far enough to cover my butt crack.

Fabric feels light but has structure. Color insert well located -- doesn't scream out but is distinctive.
