The Attack Hydration Pack by Deuter Packs is revolutionary for anyone who likes to ride their bike hard, snowboard/ski fast, or huck off big rocks for major air. Whatever your poison, putting yourself at the edge of danger is fun, but there are consequences. The Attack is made to hydrate you as you ride, but also protect you in case of a wipe out.
On the back of your Attack pack, you get 2 sheets of hard, closed cell foam for shock absorption and a softer, open cell foam for comfort. Protection for those sensitive back areas with an armor, is something no other hydration system is providing.
You also get anatomically correct shoulder straps, hip belt and cross padding on the back to increase stability and more comfort.
Staying hydrated has never gotten so good.
Deuter Attack Hydration Bike Pack was designed for the adrenaline junky on wheels with protection in mind
Shield Back System is the first of its kind combining a backpack with body armor
Full-face helmet holder
Integrated pads holder
Three liter BPA-free Source Reservoir included
2 front stash pockets Extra wide hip fins for added stability
Certainly not every pack doubles as body armor for mountain biking. In fact, we hadn’t heard of any until the Deuter Attack Hydration Backpack came along. Not only can you haul 3 liters of water with this pack, you also protect your spine—so go ahead and huck that cliff.

protection and STABILITY

| Besides the spine protection Deuter touts as the big difference about this hydra-pack, I especially dig how it stays put- no constant adjustments or vertical scrunching. The plates act as stays and the the hip fins are the way to go- set and forget. As gaian said in review: the 3liter bladder works very well, and it is within this compartment that I find I still have space to put all extras such as jacket, sammy, (tube at the bottom so I never forget). This saves the relatively small other pockets for essentials no rider should be without. The back padding is well thought out and allows ample channeling of air. Its strap/buckles for extra carry-on is simple and a no-worry system. This pack addresses many problems I find with all my other hydra packs. I expect other packs to adopt these features for what they cure, but even Deuter leaves the hip fins off their mesh suspended models which makes no sense for bikers, and I gave those a try too. | |

I just logged my first ride in with this pack and must say, this is a top notch product. Deuter makes great packs in general and this is no exception. The back breathes great due to the spacing between the grey mesh foam and the back of the pack is a rigid plate offering a ton of protection over any other hydration pack. The protected area covers the tail bone too and wraps around the hip. Just a well thought out product that is comfortable and offers a bit more piece of mind. It comes with a 3L bladder with an easy clean system where the top unfolds for easy cleaning.

| Dawgs this is the most EXTREME pack out there. Perfect for when i'm huckin it off those killer 5 ft walls and taking a swig of my special mix Natty Light, Mikes Hard, and Red Bull. The only thing wrong with this bag is that it isn't equipped with an MP3 compartment so I can't listen to the new metallica cd i just downloaded sorry Lars, you're a God bro!. Bro's this bag is hard to the core, and its got a sweet tribal logo and a camo option!? thats all anything needs man!!!! | |
