The Deuter Futura 24 SL daypack is a perfect option for women who like to travel light and fast.
With the same technology for comfort and performance just on a smaller scale,Deuter created its Futura 24 SL Backpack specifically for women. With 1350 cu inches of room, this pack holds enough gear to get you to the top of a summit or long day hike. Deuter's Aircomfort technology features a panel that separates your back from you pack, which allows air to move freely between the two. Carrying up to 15lbs, the Futura 22 is hydration compatible and includes an integrated rain cover. You have to be tough to reach the summit and so does your pack; made of ripstop nylon, this bag meets the demands of tough terrain. Stabilizing straps and the hip-belt guarantee a secure fit that makes sure that just your legs do all the work. Tons of extra exterior pockets, including a smaller front zip pocket on the waist-belt, make for easy access to little things you'll need during your hike.
The Futura 24 SL Backpack by Deuter is a women's specific pack that is top loading and provides the ultimate in support while trekking or backpacking. Built with Deuter's Aircomfort System that is a powder coated durable, spring steel frame that supports and holds under tension the mesh back panel, creating a space between the pack body and the wearer's back. This space allows warm air to escape from 3 sides of the panel, ensuring effective air circulation. Soft, articulated lumbar pads improve the fit and load distribution while the spring steel stays provide tension and a flexible, lightweight structure. The longer overall torso length ensures that weight will be situated on the hips.

The Futura top loaders are perfect for long dayhikes, brief overnighters, or big excursions to the mountains. With their performance-enhancing Aircomfort back ventilation system and full list of features and available in the Futura SL version, equipped with shorter, narrower SL shoulder straps and a conical shaped waist belt to deliver the perfect fit that women users have been looking for.

Good design but on the small side

| I used this pack for the first time today on the Kendall Katwalk portion of the Pacific Crest Trail in Washington state. For this day hike, I was barely able to fit the things that I most needed. It was otherwise very comfortable and well designed, my shoulders barely felt any weight, but it is certainly meant for someone who packs lighter than me. As much as I like this pack, I will be trading it for the larger version. | |

I bought this pack for climbing. I was skeptical about the rigid frame for what I was using it for but it seems to be alright and the ventilation is great, especially being in the desert. Its lightweight and has lots of storage compartments. Its very comfortable and the fit is perfect and easily adjustable. Overall, very happy with this pack. I'd recommend it.
