| This is a nice sun shade and rain hood. Designed well, although I'm not sure where to store it when not in use. Be aware that the kid's legs will get wet if it is raining though. To protect against that you'll _also_ need to buy the Deuter KC Rain Cover. | |

| Highly recommended. We bought ours with with Deuter Kid Comfort II. Works wll for keeping sun off of your child when the sun is high in the sky. Not so well when the sun is lower early or late in the day. Rain cover works well and is still breathable. | |

| We always bring to hood along. It is easy to attach, and it doesn't get in the way. I wish there was a place to store it on the pack when not in use, as we have almost lost it several times. | |

I really like the Deuter Kid Comfort carrier that I bought this cover for, but I don't the cover nearly as much. I love the fit and how easy it is to put on, but it does not block the sun enough for my liking. Maybe this has to do with my baby being pretty young and sitting kind of low, but sun seems to hit his face unless the sun is directly over head or behind us. It could be user error, but it is better then nothing especially for the price. | |
