i had fire | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Used these in a deep canyon with a river, it was cold everything was wet, even the fallen pine needles wouldn't light. threw one of these in with the normal kindling. Fire. Seriously tho, it was damp, misty, wet. even with the fire going the wood was dripping moisture, these things work. I don't take a whole box when im out, I pu a couple in a ziplock, but they are ALWAYS there. 10 essentials. | |

Great idea! | |

| This is an awesome idea, to create a fire starting product such as this. Bring these along, just-in-case your stranded and the wood around you is too wet to start around you. This has a fire starter along with the kindling. Remember to be extremely cautious while using these outdoors. | |

Starts fires in rainstorms

| These are a permanent part of my camp kit. Have started fires in storms with these. I always have 4 or 5 boxes when camping. Priceless assistance on a cold, damp day. | |

| The Strike-A-Fire Matches work great, the only done side is that it takes some getting used to get them started. With a little practice, this work great for any adventure. | |

You can't *not* start a fire with these

| A bit on the bulky side, but you can take only what you need. They burn for several minutes and work great at getting even wet kindling going. Great in winter too in low temps. I keep two in my pack for wet, cold, or windy conditions where a standard match just isn't enough. Have had one box last me a very long time though they get hard to separate and break in half as they get older. | |
