Works well in the boat

I had some carpet go bad up at the front where the trolling motor is. I cut some of this matting to go there and it worked great. I just used some screws to hold it down.

Diamond Matting

I love the matting, it looks good, is non-skid, dresses up the trailer and is easy to work with. But!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as everybody else says the glue will not hold when it gets wet. Floated off when the trailer went in the water. I reinstalied it with a glue I got from the big box store. What glue to use? Big question??????????????? This stuff seems to be expensive but Cabelas appears to be the only easy source.
I am going to buy some more to replace carpeting on my trailer.

Good but no good.

The matting is very good, but the adhesive backing came loose on the second day of fishing. Put some 3M glue on it and seems to holding much better.

Not self adhesive

I bought the self adhesive rubber mat looking for a quick and easy way to make a few areas no skid on my boat deck. I followed the directions to the letter, but the mat did not stick at all. I suspect that the adhesive pulled off with the backing.
The mat itself is GOOD, but I would not buy another piece of it in this form.
I'd rather find a lower price option because I had to go find another adhesive to get it to hold anyway.
