Sometimes the path ahead is full of twists and turns: detours—planned or unexpected—that stretch across gravel roads, rural dirt routes, and time-worn city streets. The Haanjo is a bike for just those kind of adventures. It was designed to function as a long distance gravel and unpaved road race machine but, thankfully for you, the Haanjo transcends the bounds of the original design. Whether you're itching to cut a line through a stretch of untamed gravel or a simply in need of a versatile bike that can tackle the grind of the daily commute to work, The Haanjo is ready to roll.
Designed around stability and endurance, the Haanjo Comp features Diamondback's Enhanced Performance Geometry (EPG) which offers a slightly higher head tube height to put less strain on a rider’s back and neck. This improves the fit for riders with marginally less pelvic rotation and core stability. The Haanjo Comp also offers a slightly slacker headtube angle. At 70°, the headtube is even slacker than a typical cyclocross bike, which is similar in many ways to the Haanjo Comp. This feature along with a longer wheelbase offers the rider much more confidence and stability in the descents. Wider bars will lend to extra leverage for the climbs and control. With mounts for a rack and fenders and room for larger tires, it is clear that the Haanjo is a very capable rig. Cross bike? Kind of. The perfect commuter? Perhaps. Comfortable long distance rides? Most certainly.
The Haanjo Comp features a fully butted 6061-T6 alloy disc specific frame with a formed top tube, integrated tapered headtube and a carbon fork for stability and control. The FSA Gossamer Pro cross crankset and Shimano 105 10 speed drivetrain and dual control brake/shifters offer great performance and durability. TRP HYRD cable actuated hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm front and 140mm Rear Rotors offer ample stopping power and a great feel. All new DB Equation CX 23mm wide rims are laced to alloy sealed bearing hubs for a stout and capable wheelset while a DBR Drop bar and 3D forged, +/-7 degree rise stem offer a comfortable and stylish cockpit. A WTB Valcon Saddle and DBR Performance Post to put you comfortably in the right position.
