For the price they are nice. Sole is plastic, but it's ridged enough for some traction, also they're low, so it helps with balance. Color is very nice, blue with some hints of minty green? Caution, I had to go up 1/2 a size and they are really narrow. Even still with going up to a 9. I wear Frye, Lucchese, Harley...never had to go up a size or had a problem with the width in those brands.

Though I understand that the boot was not meant to be made of actual snake skin, I thought it would look a bit more believable. The sole of the shoe is also made of hard, sleek plastic, so good luck trying not to slip down the street, or worse, down the stairs!
