The simple, functional design of the DMM Shadow Quickdraw gets the job done on all rock routes. A bent gate carabiner on the rope end makes for easy clipping while the notched straight gate provides a versatile option for both sport and trad routes. DMM's beefy I-beam construction gives the Shadow Quickdraw's carabiners 24kN of strength to keep you safe while you log frequent flier miles.

DMM Shadow is simply the best. You're done trying to figure out which quickdraw to purchase. While DMM is a bit more expensive than other brands, it is worth every additional dollar.

DMM is the best but these are off the mark

DMM is definitely one of the best carabiner manufacturers out there. I think the DMM locking Shadow and the Mammut Bionic (made by DMM) are, for their respective categories, the best biners on the market. However, I'm not really a fan of of these Shadows. Lateral play in the gates makes the action rather rough. The thumb recess for added grip on the straight gate is okay, not nearly as nice as the Petzl Spirit's.
