Gorgeous! The leather has a slight sheen to it. But they're not too flashy. Good for the office or a night out. Fairly comfy. I ordered like 10 flats and these are the only ones I can walk in, so they're comfy enough. Despite the pointy toe style, the toes don't feel squished. Fit TTS. Leather feels pretty soft, compared to other brands. Bottom is not cushioned.

Update: Unfortunately I have to downgrade my previous 5-star review. After having worn them to work once, a half-day mind you, where I barely got up off my seat, my heels are in pain! From the rubbing on the back of my heels, my skin got scratched off. I had to change my shoes in order to make it back to my car to go home.

Beware Shoppers: Donald J Pliner is making some of their products in China now, and this shoe is one of them. The materials and craftsmanship do not compare to the shoes produced in Spain. I purchased this from another store. (Sorry Zappos, but you didn't have my size.) I kept them because I needed a black flat...but they look and feel cheap. Very disappointing because my other Pliners (all made in Spain) are superb quality.
