This purse is great! I own it in Black. It's a classic look that will never go out of style. I wouldn't consider it a mini size. More like a Small to Medium. I can fit my large wallet, phone, cosmetic bag, sunglasses, keys and other items with room to spare. If you don't like heavy purses, I wouldn't recommend this style. It's 2 pounds when empty, so when I add my stuff it's probably over 4 pounds. The only thing I think that would be an improvement is if the double handles were 1 to 2 inches longer. Also, I saw a video on YouTube on how to shorten the long strap by doubling it up, which helped a lot.

Great Bag! This is my first Dooney. It's extremely well constructed and the leather is supple and of great quality. The cross-body strap is a great feature, keeping your hands free and the fact that it detaches makes this a much more versatile purse. The oyster color is a great neutral but does show wear and dirt pretty quickly - simple cleaning remedies this. I usually trend towards larger bags but can fit everything I need in this one. Compact enough that you don't hit people with it in crowded areas but large enough for everything you need. Dooneys are heavier - just like previous reviewers mentioned - so be prepared for a sturdier feel and weight.

I really wanted to love this bag. I am petite so it is not easy to find a bag that does not over power but still fits the necessities (wallet, kindle, sunglasses, keys, chapstick). The size is perfect; the color is fun, though more Mediterranean blue than royal in my opinion. I could forgive the tassels, which are not my style. But I could not forgive the non-shoulder straps. I have tiny arms and could not get the straps past my elbow even without wearing sleeves. Back it goes and the search continues. Thanks Zappos for making it less taxing to search for the perfect bag.

Bought this in blue, from Zappos. I love it. I own many Dooney's and this one is excellent. Don't be fooled by the word "mini", this is no tiny bag. The leather is magnif, and I want every single color. Dooney's do tend to be heavier, to most people, I don't have a problem with the weight.

I bought this bag for my mom for mother's day, and she loves it! The leather is nice and soft, and the size is good for her (kind of small, but shes short so it works for her). Overall great bag especially if the medium size is still too big for you.
