I bought the Khaki one, it's a bit darker than the item image. I guess the navy can be darker too. The strap is very long. I adjust it to the shortest length so that it won't go below the hip. Btw I'm 5'8". The big flap is not very convenient to use, especially when you try to put something thick in the bag. Be careful, don't fold it... The largest thing I can put in is my HP Pavilion dm1 laptop. FYI: Screen size - 11.6" diagonal High. At first I thought the snaps could be inconvenient, but actually I quite like them. I like the touch of the flat back. And it helps keep the beautiful shape of the bag. It looks better when something is in the two front pockets, like the shapely pic above. Hope this helps =)

Nice bag, but it doesn't close easily and I want to be able to get in and out of the bag as I am a girl on the go. It would be much better if there were magnets instead of snaps at the closure
