Dooney & Bourke Dillen 2 Satchel

I ordered this bag in Dark Gray. I was a little skeptical of the color and it was unclear from the photos if the hardware on the bag (buckle, zipper etc.) was silver or brass color. I got the bag and fell in love with the color and hardware. The color is not that dark of a gray and in certain lights it appears to be slate blue. In other light it looks like it's the color of wet cement. Hardware color is is predominately gold in color but has a silvery glint which is great! Bag is good size although the long strap may be too short for taller people. It fits me perfectly since I'm only 5'. Top handles not long enough to carry over shoulder. My first Dooney bag and I'm already thinking of purchasing another bag - same style but different color. If you're looking for a grown up bag with style (neither trendy nor frumpy), this is a great choice.

Get the aqua! I know it's the end of July, you are probably thinking, why would I buy an aqua leather satchel just before Fall -- do you know why, because this bag is amazing and the color is Tiffany box blue, a to die for shade that I've rarely seen done in the handbag marketplace...the leather is the most supple amazing leather I've seen Dooney do, and I have many of their bags. It's very soft, yet thick and unlikely to damage easily. The interior pockets are great, and the bag isn't too heavy to carry. Love. My only complaint here is no feet, but this bag is so classically chic and effortless that I may buy another in the grey. I do think if you miss out on this color you will regret it!

This purse is the perfect size - carries wallet, cell, sunglasses, and more, but doesn't look or feel too big. At first I thought I would miss having the feet on the bottom like other D&B bags, but not needed. Purse is great, the pebble leather is soft and supple. I purchased the Chamois (yellow) color, and may buy another color! Love D&B and the yellow color. Only wish is a longer strap so could wear as cross-body. Strap is for shoulder bag, which is okay.

Love this bag! I got the tomato and it's the prettiest corally orange red, sort of changes depending upon the light. The leather is soft and suberb. Size and shape of the bag is perfect, can hold a lot. Love how Dooney has added more pockets to the inside of their bags. I keep the shoulder strap attached in case I need hands free. Don't hesitate to grab the tomato while it's still available and on sale to boot!

I own this bag in the Tomato color, and it's become my everyday bag. I get so many compliments on it and it's a great addition to any outfit. Especially in the winter when everything in my wardrobe is either gray, black, or camel. Good quality leather, good hardware, and I love the key clip.
