Nice Gun Case

This is a very nice, reasonably priced case. It has a full length hinge and good solid latches. It solidly constructed and yet not real heavy like the aluminum gun cases. It's a great case for trips to the local range or for hunting trips.

Just what I was looking for

Well constructed, looks like it could take a bump or two.

Negative Reviews:

Not suitable for airline use

This case is junk. The shell and hinges are flimsy, and the clasps are not strong enough to hold the case shut under stress of airline travel (or a determined 9 year old with a Bic pen). The locks are also irritatingly difficult to operate. I used this case on a trip to Montana and it opened at some (unknown) point between check-in and arrival. If you are travelling via airplane, spend the money on a case with burly latches and loops for locks. This isn't it.

Terrible case

Terrible case. I just got back from Canada yesterday, and got a call from the airline telling me that my gun case was held by TSA because it was not locked, after I locked it in Toronto. Think about trying to lock and unlock a case for 4 or 5 minutes while going through customs. The manufacturer should put hasp locks on the case, and include TSA approved key locks. Spend a couple more bucks and get a case with less stressful locks to operate.
