Doyle Marine QuickStep Boarding Steps Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Great Product

I use two of these steps set up one above the other on the side of my CSY 44 which I use in crewed charter service in the southern Caribbean. They have been in place for over 7 years and have seen heavy service. The step on one has finally succumbed to the tropical sun and has started to crack. I am ordering a replacement for it as well as the newer two step model to use on the other side of the boat. Great product - simple, and they work!

Excellant product

It is attached to the transom of my Capri 14.2 so that it stows out of the way during sailing, but easily deployed for reboarding in the "rare" event of capsize.

I'm a commercial underwater videographer and this step is a simple and inexpensive assist in boarding all my equipment from the water.

Just one of those things you need to have around the boat. You will find lots of uses.

compact and efficient

Excellent when beaching the boat if the bow too high to climb on comfortably.

Negative Reviews:

too good to be true

I bought the 2-step one. It hugs the side of the boat once you place the weight of your foot on it so you can't get a leg up because your body is at an awkward slant. I tried the suggestion of one reviewer by putting my foot sideways on the step and that didn't work any better, nor did holding the rope as high as possible. It's easier just climbing up on the outdrive. I'm returning this ladder.
