Dr. Martens 2295 ST Wellington Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I liked these boots very much. They felt true to size and width. I am a true size 9 Men's. The leather was soft and seemed easy to clean. The Gaucho color was a nice deep brown. The style is what I was looking for, in a pull on work boot with a steel toe. The only problem was that these boots have a metatarsal protector that was very rigid, because of that there was a lot of pressure being applied to the top of the foot. The pressure was the same on both feet. It was so uncomfortable, that for me, it made it not worth trying to break these boots in. Docs are on the pricey side. I did return them. All of the other features were great. I especially liked the padded ankle locking supports, that was one of the reasons I had high hopes for these boots. Zappos return policy is great and because of that I think giving these boots a try is a good idea. If the metatarsal protector doesn't press to hard on your foot then breaking them in would be worth it.

Love 'em. For boots I've always been partial to Dr. Martens, admittedly in large part to the style but they have always been fairly comfortable and last forever. If I'm honest though, you can tell they were designed 50 years ago. The original boots are good and still stand the test of time, but these are fantastic. I may have only have them on for a few hours yet but they are the most comfortable thing I can remember having on my feet. They are classic Dr. Martens where they need to be, and good modern boots where there was room for improvement.

I'm a superintendent for a construction company, so these boots do not see a lot of heavy work. They do seem to be very durable and easy to clean. The one complaint I have is that the shaft on the boot is very large and unless your pants have a very wide leg they will get caught on the boot when you sit down and will not go back over when you stand up.

Love these boots! They are nice and wide. Very durable for all working conditions! I wear a size 12 and these fit as all other size 12 boots and shoes.

Negative Reviews:

These boots suck. This is my second pair of Dr. Martens and both failed in a couple of months. First pair split at the sole, and this pair the heel gave, so my foot will not stay in the boot properly.
