Dr. Martens Gayle Low Biker Boot Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

They sent two insoles in the left boot, so for a week, I thought one leg was longer than the other. Even after I bought Spenco cross-training insoles for better support, I didn't know about the double insole in one boot. Finally figured that out. The heels were too wide and that's another reason I bought new insoles. I suspect that even though they were listed as women's that they were not made on a woman's last. I still need to wear a heavy sock with them, which rules out wearing them with tights and a skirt. Still I like the look. They are pretty flat and could wish for a little more lift in the heel.

I bought these to wear to Burning Man, a week-long art festival in the desert. They are incredibly light weight with soft leather and pull on and off very easily. The color is so rich and gorgeous. I love them so much, I don't want to take them out in the desert anymore! I like that the top buckle provides a little bit of adjustability. I would say they run only slightly big but I think that's a positive so that I can wear bulkier socks in the winter.

I love these. They are so comfortable. I have a high arch and can get them on no problem. I ordered my true size & they fit great.

I've been wearing these boots for several months now and they're fabulous! They're great with leggings or boot-cut jeans, and even cute with skirts (cute with an edge). I did buy the equivalent of a US size 9, which is normal for me, but they were too big and I don't like wearing super-chunky socks with my boots. The next size down, equivalent of 8 was perfect. Docs tend to run a bit wide, and these have a wide (but not high) toe area which is nice - my toes get claustrophobic. As an added bonus, my husband says they're super hot, so there's that.

I really wanted this to work but the ankle opening was too narrow for me. This caused them to be very hard to pull on. If only that had a zipper or or a bit larger in circumference, I would have kept them. Returned them for the Felice lace up - same soft leather and flexible sole.
