Dr. Martens Ironbridge - Internal MetGuard Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

This work shoe is the perfect replacement to the recently discontinued Dr. Marten's #8836. Actually, I like it better! Fit is accurate. This is a super comfortable shoe for those on their feet all day, or standing on concrete for long periods. A little more expensive, but everything is these days. Love em.

These are very comfortable work boots, especially where the Metatarsal Guards are required. These Internal MetGuard boots are much more comfortable than the boots supplied at work. I felt these didn't have as harsh break in period than other Dr. Martens boots have.

Negative Reviews:

These boots were very comfortable for the first few days then the pain began. I thought maybe things would get better after they were broken in; however, they just got more uncomfortable. With blisters on my left toes, the steel toe rubbing my right big toe which caused pain and swelling, and pain beginning in my right ankle it was becoming painful to simply walk, I had enough. I admit, they are very nice looking internal metguard boots, but definitely not worth the pain. I have worked construction for 12 years and have many different kinds of boots, I hate to admit it but these rank as the most uncomfortable I have had. Fortunately, Zappos was awesome to work with as usual! I highly recommend passing on these boots!
