I bought the black kind two years ago. I have never worn a pair of shoes for soo long. I absolutely love the DVS militia boot. It is the perfect boot/shoe for living in a climate where it snows. I'm now back to buy another pair, but it looks like somebody thought it would be funny to change the style up on me..CMON MAN!!!

snow skate shoe boot things? they are fuzzy around the inside ankle, strong quality shoes as you would expect from DVS, can stash things in the tongue. good for stepping in and on things, and kicking at stuff.
leather cleans easy. i think these are going to hold up well this winter. go buy them!

What do you get when you mold a skateshoe with water resistant hiking boot technology, and a look of a average tiberland? The DVS Militia Boot! Cold Grip Technology, lightweight, the comfort of a skateshoe, moisture wicking inside, these boots are everything anyone could need in a casual winter boot.

I bought this product because it looked really cool and after wearing it it around my town, which is frozen all the time, and not slipping once, I must say, bravo. This is a great product. It looks good and it performs well.

Overall a good, functional, very stylish shoe. Good for walking through the snow or wearing casually to the club or for the everyday walk.

They're awesome! They fill all my winter boot and shoe needs. Maybe a bit clunckier then they need to be.

Negative Reviews:

These shoes looks nice, but they are built horribly. I had the black for for a little less than two months and they are already falling apart at the seams. I am very dissapointed in the quality.

Neutral Reviews:

These things are pretty cool. Look like a work boot and a skate shoe. They are a little big and bulky. A little more than I hoped. The tongue seems a little short. I felt like it should come up another inch, when you tie them up to the top the laces are above the tongue. The tongue has a secret compartment on the inside to store things. This makes it kind of stiff and again more bulky. I think they are cool but don't love them.
