Mountain Gear

When what you're after is the lightest possible binding to help you go from gate to finish line in the fastest time, than fit into the Low Tech Race Binding from Dynafit. Weighing in at just over 5 ounces, this minimalistic binding employs a freakishly light micro-fusion of titanium and aluminum and leaves out heel risers and other bells and whistles to cut weight.

Features:

  • Binding will release if enough force is applied
  • Cut weight and increase speed; the high strength to weight ratio binding is constructed of micro-fusion of titanium and aluminum
  • Designed for the sole purpose of downhill power; minimalistic approach leaves behind heel risers and other features for a shaved-down weight

dynafit bindings for those in the backcountry are a must. most of my friends have been worried that they aren't enough binding for aggressive skiing. i'd say this is not a problem. think about it, some pretty bad ass skiers live in these bindings. if you aren't dropping 50 foot cliffs in them you will be fine. i don't see a reason NOT to buy these bindings.
