Dynafit ZZero4 Green Machine TF AT Ski Boot -
Newly redesigned with a carbon cuff, the ZZero 4 Green Machine TF Alpine Touring Boot offers all the comfort and fit of Dynafit's previous Zzero PX models but with greater energy transfer for your descent. Touted as the first carbon cuff four-buckle on the market, the Zzero 4 Green Machine grants featherlight uphills and rewarding downhills so you can experience the best of both worlds during your next tour.

  • Thermo-moldable TF-ThermoFlex liner offers a supportive fit and a comfortable feel that doesn't weigh a ton

Support and Cushioning:

  • ZZero boot tongue is designed to match the shape of your foot and stiff enough to provide downhill support while still being flexible for touring

  • Pebax tongue flexes smoothly and consistently as you pass your skin track on the way back down

Traction and Grip:

  • DynaGrip outsole provides traction in a wide variety of conditions

  • Medium flex maximizes comfort without sacrificing energy transfer for plush touring and a responsive descent

  • New for 2011/12, the Green Machine features a carbon fiber cuff for added energy transfer and performance during the downhill without increasing weight
  • Easy-to-engage ski/walk mechanism features to preset ski positions (15 and 21 degrees)
SkiTourers and FreeTourers who demand top performance in all conditions, and want to stand out from the crowd. This is our new Flagship Ski Touring boot. This the first 4 buckle ski boot with a full carbon fiber cuff, for dramatic downhill performance and weight reduction. The new cuff also offers a wider rotation compared to the traditional ZZero cuff and a newly designed ski/walk mechanism that perfectly matches the new carbon fiber back-bone. This is clearly the best performing touring boot in its weight range.

Dynafit ZZero4 Green Machine TF AT Ski Boot Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Light, stiff, ski well, sufficient cant so they don't need adjustments, easy to buckle with gloves, and wide enough so my toes aren't pinched and don't freeze. My only gripe is that, as with all ski boots I've ever tried, they are built like downhill boots, so if you fit them with toe room (which you need for longer tours), you end up having to pad the ankles and put in a thin insole to get a snug fit. Not a huge problem...

Very Friendly

This is for the person who wants to get into a touring boot that is light weight and has the ability to drive a ski through most conditions. More than likely going to only use this boot for touring.
-The boot would be a great touring boot because it has a real easy fit to it, giving a decent amount of volume in the in step while coming narrow in the heel. The walk mode was very friendly giving a good range of motion. Driving a ski with it was impressive because it had a nice consistent flex that allowed you to choose how hard you wanted to drive the ski. The down side was a few times it was not enough boot on hard pack snow.
