Read this before the others.

Hey there,

I don't see why most of the reviews here are bad. I don't see what all the fuss is about. I use these on my snowboard goggles that used to fog up like crazy and would ruin a good day on the mountain, after applying it for the first time, there was a major difference and my goggles wouldn't fog up no matter the climate.

You people are using this on motorcycle helmets? Don't you think that's a little much?

The one thing I didn't really like was that moisture built up inside my goggles while I sat on the lift, which isn't that big of a deal because if you're a fairly advanced rider the wind from your speed will just dry up your goggles.

This product is amazing. Probably not for helmets and glasses, but it was more than expected on the mountain. Which should be the main use of this stuff.

I would and will buy this product again!

I am an avid motorcycle rider, I ride in all weather conditions. This product works great for keeping my glasses from forging up when I am wearing my face mask, as well as keeping the visor clear on my full face helmet. The only down side is I have to apply it every time before I ride. But that is a small price price to pay for a product that works as good as this one.

Not c*** Good Stuff!

A full day of skiing often is interrupted because of fogging ski goggles. a friend introduced me to this lens cleaner defogger. I asked her several times what the name was because I thought she was kidding me when she said it was Cat C***. (Even this review saw the name of the product offensive). Not sure where this name came from but the creativity of naming a great product is lacking.

The only thing that works.

We use this on our sons Recspec Sports Frames. He plays football and baseball and he has been in dry Texas weather and humid Louisiana weather and no fog. I have friends who have bought everything on the market - this stuff really works. Takes 3 applications and you must let it dry then buff it off.

Great Stuff!!

I work for a huge company and our forklift drivers are in and out of coolers and freezers all day - so we are trying to find a product that will help with the "fogging" of the glasses - so far this product has been working, it just takes at least 2-4 applications a day....

Worth the [$]

Works fairly well after multiple applications. I use on both cycling glasses and leaded X-ray glasses in a cardiac cath lab. They still fog if I'm sweating or when breathing directly onto the lenses, but the difference is that the fog disappears in between breaths, which is an improvement and worth the [$] to me.

A must for combat operations

Apply liberally to both sides of lens surface, buff in, and rub off. The product is great for eye protection for general industry and combat operations. Works better in warm climates than cold. Not the best for specific equipment such as full face respiratory protection or motorcycle helmets in cooler climates.

Multipurpose

Pocket paste can go in a motorcycle jacket, vehicle, and bathroom medicine cabinet, without worry of a liquid spill. I enjoy steamy showers and so far has lasted a week of jumping out of the shower and shaving off the bathroom mirror with one small application.

best lens cleaning stuff ever!

My glasses appear to stay cleaner longer with using this stuff. I used it on a old pair of glasses that were really scratched up and I could even see out of those better.

Great Stuff

I have used Cat Cr_p Anti Fog & Lens Cleaner (actual name was rejected by prudish filter) for ski goggles, swim goggles, and glasses for tennis. Excellent performance and easy to use.

Old Crop?

I have been using Cat Crop for years. As a bespectacled person who enjoys snowmobiling and riding motorcycles in all 4 seasons, I find this a great product to keep my glasses and helmet visors from fogging up. However, this particular order seems to have a problem of the product separating and there is a watery mixture at the top. It looks like it might have been sitting in a warehouse too long. I have never had this problem before. But this is the first time I have ordered it from this particular vendor. Another thing about this vendor is it won't allow me to use the actual name of this product because it is considered profanity, hence the use of the work crop instead of the real word. I don't think I will order anything else from this vendor.

I used it but it certainly is not magic

As I paddle on cold water while the dewpoint is warmer than the water and my glasses get splashed or I do a roll, they become so foggy that it is hard to see out of them. When I take them off, I can't see much either. I tried this stuff a couple times, but they still fogged-up. I was told the best might be to carry a small piece of chamois to dry the glasses.

Not for serious steam

I bought this and CatCrap Spray-On to prevent fogging on my regular glasses during sweaty exercise (martial art). Unfortunately, neither worked. Worse, once a gel coated lense gets the steam, it does not evaporate as fast as usual.
If you are planning to use this in an extremely steamy and low-air-circulation environment, don't bother. Just get contact lenses.

Not nearly as effective as I had hoped

I used this product on a full-face motorcycle helmet visor hoping to stop the fogging that occurs at low speeds or at stops when the temperature is around 50 degrees or less. While it did lessen the fogging some, it did not work nearly as well as I had hoped. I would not purchase it again.

Doesn't work

I used these on ski goggles after the anti-fog coating had been wiped off. Doesn't help at all, makes them worse if anything.
skier9258 at Campmor on 11/11/2013

not generally effective

Mixed Results on preventing fogging
