Great Rod

Being in WY, I have a chance to fish for Trout, Bass, Perch, Crappie, Walleye, and Pike just to mention a few of the species. I purchased the 6'6" rod and paired with my abu garcia light weight cardinal reel and what a match this is. The rod lets me feel every movement a fish is tinkering with my bait and the hook set is effort less. This rod also handles small jerk baits, spinning lures, and I can put a small floater bulb with a 2lb leader tied to a fly and float that in streams and nail the strikes. This rod is right up there with the best of rods.

Great Fun!

This rod is light, light, light and whippy, whippy, whippy. GREAT fun when catching trout! It is a flyrod action on a spinning rod! Wish the guides had inserts, but most of the time, since it's so light, there won't be any wear on the line or the guides! I additionally like the inch markings on the rod body. Makes for a quick measuring stick.
