Works but I'd also be careful | |

| I used this when traveling to the Middle East for my single voltage appliances. It did power my hair dryer, but the unit got extremely warm, and the blowing strength of my normally reliable hairdryer was pitiful. This was the first time I had used a power converter abroad, so I'm not sure if that's normal or if it has to do with this product specifically. The plastic casing also seems a little cheap, but I've also found that to be the norm among other products like this that I've looked at. It does come with a handy carrying case. It's a little annoying that it comes with 5 adapter plugs, when most people will only need 1 for whatever country they are traveling to. | |

| I have used this converter in many foreign countries, and it has always worked well. The multiple included adapters allow you to use the converter in many different countries...and you can easily leave the ones you won't need at home. | |

Eagle Creek Blew It | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I love my Eagle Creek Luggage so I decided it would be wise to buy the Eagle Creek converter. What an expensive mistake. It overheated and blew my expensive hair iron within minutes of use overseas, even though based on wattage and description it sounded as if it could be used safely. Subsequently I learned that there are converters with fuses that blow if the appliance is overheating and protect your appliance. Steer clear of this converter if you want to protect your appliance. | |
