Incredible space saver

The system is simple to use. The first time it took just a few minutes to determine the best way to put clothing into it. I found the best way is to fold both sweaters and t-shirts in half and stack them such that they are evenly spaced in the bag. Make sure not to over pack the bag as that will make closing it difficult. You can get most of the air out by just sitting or kneeling on the bag. Then remove the rest by rolling it. Once I've rolled all the air out, I unroll it and pack it flat in the bottom of my duffel bag. The flat "packet" of clothing conforms to the curves of a duffel very well.

After roughly 10 uses, I've only had a couple small issues. The yellow "zip-tab" has come off a couple times. It clips right back on and functions with no issue. It's possible to lose it if you're in a hurry though. I've also had the bag spontaneously open up as I've been rolling the air out. It could've been because I had it packed a little full as it has only happened once. Before i figured out the best way to pack the clothing I noted that once I removed clothing from the bag, the articles were often wrinkled.

Quite Awesome

These are great for vacationing AND the trail. I used them to pack a single bag for a whole summer in China. They make clothing items more manageable and easy to pack when backpacking, too. Super easy to access. I use them at home, too, with our winter comforters to store under the bed and my outfitting in the off season.
The one issue I have is the larger the compression sack, the more difficult it is to squeeze the air out, and if you're 5' 2" you might need to do some finagling to distribute your weight properly.

Works Great!!!

I used these compression bags during my recent trip to SE Asia. As long as you don't over-stuff them, they work perfectly. I was able to fit 6 pairs of pants in the large bag and 5 pairs of cargo shorts in the medium. Then at the end of my trip, I used the medium bag for my dirty clothes. The only downside with using these bags are that the clothes come out wrinkled. Other than that, I definitely recommend this product.

Negative Reviews:

Didn't compress

The "Pack-It Compressor" didn't enable any more items to be packed than would have been packed without it. It would still be useful in separating wet or dirty items from clean items.
