fair folder option
See my comments regarding the 18-inch Pack-It Folder, which I consider to be the better size for most usage. Certainly my 16-1/2 x 37 shirts, and even my short sleeve shirts, work better with the larger folder, BUT, if you need to pack a bag that won't take the larger size, this smaller size, which I continue to use for longer trips when I need two folders, usefully helps organize and give shape to something such as a smaller duffel bag. Of course, for some smaller adults, this size may suffice. I would allow that the Eagle Creek folders, while very durable, seem almost overbuilt; they perhaps should make lighter versions with ripstop rather than Cordura nylon, slightly thinner boards, etc.
Smaller is better for Women's clothing
One note about size per the prior reviewer - larger may be better for men's clothing, but this is just the right size to tri-fold *women's* clothing (or children's clothing, for that matter.) The 18" Pack-it is too large to tri-fold all but my largest shirts, and a folding board is unnecessary if you're just going to fold things in half. This 15" folder will hold 7 or 8 of my small-to-medium size women's tees, short dresses, etc. and is the right width for ladies' slacks.

I just returned from a trip. I was most pleased with the folder. I have another one and I shall purchase yet another one. I find them most useful. I pack the maybe needed clothes in one and just take the whole envelope out and put it in a drawer. If I do not need it, it goes back in the suitcase all packed and ready to go. The entire pack-it line is wonderful, but the folder is extra special. Not only does it hold your shirts and pants secure and protect them from wrinkles, but it also has a nifty folding tool to ensure that all of your items are the same size after folding.

These are great. People wonder why you would buy these to put in a bag instead of just putting your stuff directly into you luggage. Well when you go to open it after you arrive, your stuff is neat and the same as it was when you left. Not scattered all over and tossed to a mess. It is very organized and excellent to travel with.
Perfect size to fit in a carry on bag. It keeps clothes neat and organized. I like to use this size when I take an overnight trip where a carry on is too big. In that case, I take a tote bag, pack my clothes in my folder, and they stay neat and don't get tossed around in my bag with my other things. Great piece!
Fancy Folder
I was quite a skeptic about pack-it folders until I used a set on a 7 week trip to Europe, that was 3 years ago and I haven't traveled without mine since! These folders make packing, and unpacking, a breeze and keep your clothes organized when traveling to multiple destinations.
This item arrived very promptly. I have used it for a couple of trips and plan to use it more. It is easy to handle and helps to organize luggage. In time, I will have a better idea of how well I think it eliminates wrinkles.
Keeps clothes wrinkle-free!
I've used this product for many years, and it keeps my nicer shirts/sweaters/pants wrinkle-free, which is key when traveling with a backpack. Plus it can be molded to fit the amount of clothing you want to store.
These are the best. Packing is so easy and you can fit twice as any items in your suitcase. Don't quite understand but it works. Love all of them.
