Exactly what I needed

Owned for 2 weeks, used on 1 trip so far.

Needed a suitcase for a 3-night business trip. Fit everything I needed with a bit of extra room. Fresh clothes for 3 days, 1 pair shoes, toiletries, and laptop and tablet (business trip).

Only minor con: listed as fitting plane's overhead storage requirements but can be stuffed and deform to exceed them. I stuffed my jacket in right before boarding the plane and was told I'd have to check it since it was too large for the overhead. Fortunately, I didn't have a separate personal item and was able to break apart this bag and not check anything.

Fabulous luggage set! I used this for a work trip to three countries in Africa and it worked really well. I was in an out of airports a lot and it was nice to be able to slip the backpack over the luggage handles to save my back. I also used the zip-off backpack to carry around my laptop and other files to meetings and it was very comfortable and still professional looking. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!

We bought this 2 piece set to take to Greece. Have not yet gone, but love the concept and the ability to use the 2 pieces together or separately. Hubby has had an Eagle Creek backpack for years, and it looks like new, in spite of it going around the world, and being abused. Will post again if there are problems, but I do not expect there will be.

Neutral Reviews:

Well, sorry to report that one zipper has failed already. I have not contacted the company yet...should be guaranteed, but still a nuisance. Rolls well. Handle works well. Front backpack not a comfortable day pack. Loved my first Eagle River carry-on. Mixed review on this one.
