Locks for Peace of Mind!

I bought a couple of these travel locks in different colors for my family. I own a TSA lock with a key, that is always disappearing in my purce and causing me panic! I decided to try these keyless locks after our trip to Hilton Head, but haven't tried them yet, hence the 4 stars. They look pretty sturdy, and easily fit in the slots on the 2 zippers that close the suitcase. I'm looking forward to using them on our next flight to whereever!

Keep it safe

I just traveled to West Africa and Europe and I used this lock not only to keep my belongings secure while traveling, but secure in my lodgings while I was out exploring the places I was visiting. The locks are easy to use and practical and help give you that extra peace of mind that your luggage is not going to be rifled through when traveling.

Solid Little Lock

Bought this mostly for locking up gear at hostels actually, I usually carry on my gear. Great for locking up my backpack or lockers at hostels I stay at so I don't have to constantly rent/buy junky locks. I feels sturdy and strong, does its job and stays small. Perfect for travelling.

Basic, sturdy lock

It's a basic, sturdy TSA-approved lock. Resetting the code was straightforward and easy. After having an expensive piece of camera equipment stolen from a checked airline bag, I won't travel without locking my bags again. This lock meets my security needs at a great price.

Used one of my friends locks and liked how easy it was to use. When I got home from our trip, I ordered 2. Cant wait to use them.

Negative Reviews:

Why?

Bought 2. 1 worked as described, the other "forgot" (the same as #1) its combo. Out of boredom, got it open, but it refused to close again. Not really sure why to use these except to prevent opportunity theft or to meet some bag-storage requirements of having locked bags. I mean I think if you really tried, you could break these open with just your hands... and if I remember right, this model was the beefier of the two by EC.
SS Gearguy at Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) on 01/01/2011
Don't buy! Go ahead and set the new combo and lock your luggage, then take your fingers and turn the top part where it locks, open! No need for a combo or key - anyone can open it, go to AAA and get another kind.

junk

Locks in "lock position". A piece of junk.
