nice wallet
I purchased a Eagle Creek Wallet like the one above maybe 15 years ago and the velcro finally wore out. This wallet is the same model, but a little more compact. I had to toss some things to fit important stuff into it, and one more slot would have helped. But it is solid and appears capable of another 15 year run.
Most versitile Eagle Creek Wallet
I had an old Eagle Creek wallet. It is important to measure your old one before ordering a new one. They turned the CC slots sideways, making them harder to use. Otherwise the wallet is much like the original World Wallet.
Purchased for my husband, this wallet was perfect. He especially liked the zippered bill pocket. It is a great safety feature.

I bought this for my son, who needed something that had zipped compartments for money. It appears to be very sturdy.

Unimproved from old one
I had the old green world wallet, that wore like iron, which just wore out after many years (15-20?) use, so many I've forgotten. It was just Great! I looked in stores for a replacement that had the same features before searching the net for Eagle Creek, but couldn't find any. This one is OK, but two changed features lessen my rating. First, I liked the two cash pockets - one zipped and the other open. It was particularly great for overseas travel and carrying cash notes from different countries, and I traveled a lot. Next, and probably more important, is that increasing the height of the wallet makes it too tall in my left hip pocket, on some pants, to fasten the "security" button. The taller pocket also makes it more difficult to see and pull out the notes wanted, whereas the second cash pocket was easy to use. Finally, the ID pocket is a bit too loose, I prefer one that holds the ID in place, but I'm fixing that adding a small velcro strip. Sorry if this sounds too negative, the quality looks like it will hold up well, but I hate when "improvements" - which I imagine they thought they were doing making changes - take a great product backwards!
Was trying to replace an eagle creek wallet that I had for years. I often do not carry a purse and my old one fit nicely in my pants pocket. This appeared to be similar. I was hoping it would be the same. I like it, but it is larger than the one I had and does not fit as well. The area for bills in my original wallet also had two sections, one zippered and one not. This wallet only has a zippered compartment for bills. I liked the separation on the old one better. There is nothing wrong with this one, but would have preferred the older style.
nice wallet but not large enough
I was trying to replace my old eagle creek wallet which I have had for years and have absolutely loved. The newer version was similar but much smaller. I was disappointed and returned it.
