Earth Urban Suede Boots

Earth did a good job designing these boots: they hid their comfortable, posture-fixing, but usually dorky-looking negative heel in a boot that looks perfectly normal, even cute! I love it! They do make your foot look a little fat, but I suppose that's to be expected of cold-weather boots. They are quite warm. I'm usually a 9-9.5 in most shoes and got a 9.5 in these, which fit perfectly--though I have to tighten the laces all the way up to keep my heel from slipping. My feet are a little wide across the "knuckles" part and these fit comfortably. Overall I'm very pleased and I look forward to wearing these boots with skirts and sweater tights, or skinny jeans (if I had any)--something that doesn't cover up their style.

You won't be mislead or sorry with these boots! I am an Earth shoe fan!! Very comfortable fitting shoe line:) For these boots, I ordered them in a size 9, I usually am a size 8 1/2. The size 9 is perfect, sock and just enough wiggle room. I bought the black and the brown. Thanks to this site I was able to get them on sale with a discount, so very affordable! They are very comfortable and easy to walk around in, not clunky like some boots are. The fur around the edge, stylish and great for ankle warmth, blocks snow flakes from making ankles wet or damp feeling. Also, these boots are easier to maneuver around the pedals when driving a vehicle that's a stick shift.

These boots are comfy out of the box. The poly fur is toasty but doesn't breathe. A bit hot for inside wear. The first two times I wore them in damp/wet conditions they were totally waterproof... even resisted a few steps in the river. The third time walking through wet grasses the moisture penetrated the inside. Probably fine for more 'urban' wear. My forefoot is a bit wide and there was just enough room. I typically wear 7 1/2 - 8... the 7 1/2 fit great. This is the first time wearing Earth shoes... really enjoy the negative heel. Overall I like them and would recommend them especially at Sierra's great price.

The boot looks well made, is comfortable, and the fur lining seems like it would keep your feet warm. However my issue is with the aesthetics of the boot. In the pictures you can't really tell, but they have a "club foot" shape. I found it to be really unappealing. From certain angles the boot looks cute, but when you look straight down, it makes your feet look wide and unfeminine. I tried to convince myself that I would get over that flaw, but I ultimately decided to return them. They were great otherwise.

Earth is the most comfortable style of shoe/boot and these Earth Urban Suede Boots feel great! A tiny bit snug at the toes, but really, no comparison to regular non-comfort boots you buy at a mall! Great looking, nobody can tell that the heel is lower than the foot! I wear a 9 1/2 so the sole/heel part looks a wee bit clunky at the heel. Black suede is a great color! It is definitely a casual look, though. Great boots!

Although snow season has passed I look forward to wearing these next winter. As with most Earth shoes, these feel very comfortable. I have been looking for several years for comfortable Earth boots that were reasonably priced. These were just what I was looking for. They look durable, but most of all they are comfortable. I have boots to wear for shoveling snow but wanted more comfortable boots for shopping and any longer wear.

These boots are comfortable right from the start as every pair of Earth shoe's I've ever owned has been. Though, the first pair I received did have a problem with the insole. It was only slid 1/2 way in the shoe when it was glued down so I had to return it. I took a brown pair because they were so comfortable. Also, VERY warm. Will be good for next winter.

These boots are adorable. But...you need to check the interior footbed lining. Some of the shoes have lining glued so far out of place that the shoe is uncomfortable. I went through a few exchanges to find a pair I liked. I love Earth shoes/boots. That negative heel concept does seem to help exercise the calf muscle. It feels like it helps stretch the calf muscle.

Finally a warm boot that is attractive looking. A bit narrow in the toe area for my feet which I would describe as medium width, but because they are so well insulated I am wearing these boots with thin wool socks. My feet are chronically cold so it is a treat to find a boot that keeps them warm.
Good ankle support and strong protective toe.

I haven't had a chance to use these, since winter has not arrived. I ordered these in the wide width and a size larger based on the reviews. With regular socks this makes them quite roomy, but since I tend to wear thick socks in the winter, it will be perfect. They are nicely lined and feel very warm and comfortable. They exceeded my expectations.
