good jacket

This is the perfect jacket for when its raining but not freezing. The jacket is completely waterproof just a little light. I wore it out the other day in a 45 degree rain storm with just a tshirt to run errands and it was GREAT, but anything cooler would need another layer. There are only 3 downsides to the jacket. Would be nice if it was a little warmer, the sleeves are too thin and the material from the liner sags a little at the end of the cuff and the zipper is a little bit of a pain but I am sure that will change in time. Otherwise it is a great jacket ad i got it on one of their sales so it really cant be beat.

Excellent Protection

Yes, female, bought the man's version to be able to add layers underneath and still have a relaxed fit - also better color selection. This will replace an EMS soft shell I purchased about 15 years ago that is ready to be retired - the pit zips are essential to avoid over-heating, convenient pockets for cell phone. I'm 5'5" about 130, men's small was fine - I also purchased same in black in medium for more layering and works a treat in the snow.

Great Shell

I looked around a lot and tried on various jackets and shells. This was on sale at EMS and I'm glad I picked it up. It is advertised as a shell and that it what it is, and a good one. I went skiing with thermal underwear, a quarter zip shirt, fleece vest, and this jacket, and I kept warm in -2 temps. Hood fits over helmet great. Wore it today in the rain and it just beaded off the jacket.

Great jacket if you remove snowband

I am using this jacket for skiing and to get from and too work. It is an excellent jacket, warmer than my old two layer gortex jacket. The only issue is the snowband that comes loose on occasion. If you want to use this for skiing then you might want to look for a jacket that has a fixed snowband not one that is attached by zipper.

I like it!

I really like this shell. I am 6', 185, slim. I have an XL and it fits perfectly, except the arms are snugger than I'd like - a fleece fits, but it's snug. The zippers should be higher quality - maybe they will break in a bit with time? It was hard to open pit zips while wearing it - maybe true for all pit zips?

Amazing allround jacket

This is one amazing jacket All Round, You could be equally at home in the office or on the ski slopes.

* Rain Proof
* Awesome windbreaker
* soft lined Pockets in the right places
* Would be good in cold upto 35F. Anything below you probably need another layer.

Been looking for a do it all like this for a while.

Non-bulky jacket

Unfortunately my husband didn't get a chance to use this jacket. It needed to be returned. He wears an XL and this was too snug thru the shoulders and along the back.

The quality of the jacket was very nice.

Great jacket

This would be perfect if the hood were removable or could be stowed.
