Eastern Mountain Sports Pandora Pants Reviews:

Nice, but too long and wide at knee

I bought these for cross country skiing and general cold winter use. I think they'll do fine. They're attractive pants, nice fabric, I just wish they had a shorter inseam and were narrower at the knee (they are closer fitting at the thigh) and calf. They're too wide to tuck into boots (but look nice going over them and the ankle zipper and clasp is nice), so it'd be cool if there was an inside lower-leg liner that could be tucked into boots so that no snow finds its way into my boots. I don't think they're very windproof - maybe wind-resistant. I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs and I purchased a 4 and a 6 and returned the 4 because the 6 was flattering but had room for a few layers underneath without being too snug. The 4 was almost snug around the butt without any layers underneath.

Awesome hiking pants

Bought these for a colder than expected, snowy forecast in the Adirondacks. They were perfect with no base layer hiking in high teens/low 20s with heavy, wet snow. Stayed dry and flexible.

I was going to get a Marmot pant that I preferred (and was cheaper!!), but they didn't have my size in store (8 too small, 12 too big). I usually wear a 10, but got these in a 12 because they were strangely cut - tight in butt/thighs. The 12 is fine and will accommodate a base layer better.

I will definitely use them skiing.

Styling for the Outdoors

These pants are very flattering.

I wore a pair of silk undies underneath and headed out into the snow for some snowshoing time. Weather was about 30 degrees with a new covering of snow. I slipped at one point and fell on my backside and rolled onto my knees. I stayed dry and maintained a comfortable skin temperature. I like the easy stretch that these pants have around the tummy area. Best of all, even after 35 years of marriage, my husband complimented me on how nice my backend looked :). Nice pant.

Great for snowshoeing!!!

I wore these pants in 30 degree weather. I did have a base layer underneath, but these pants kept me warm and dry. I have yet to use them in colder conditions, but I feel confident these pants will not fail.

Great fit and comfort!

These are great in the rain, I stayed dry in a downpour and worked great as a second layer in the snow.

great outdoor pant

I have used these pants skiing, hiking and snowshoeing. They are comfortable, sturdy, warm and fit well over warm long underwear.

"absolutely would buy these again"

I used these while hiking. They kept me comfortable and were quite flexible while climbing a rock face.
